Texans For Climate Change Action released its first formal petition yesterday. Rice University will soon purchase electricity contracts for the next ~3 years. We commend Rice for including energy from green sources for years 2015 and 2016. To continue to address climate change, we urge Rice to purchase a greater proportion of electricity from green sources in the upcoming contract.
